Nissan Gripz Concept
This futuristic Crossover SUV is the latest concept from Nissan. It's called the Nissan Gripz, and it's a new breed of sporty compact crossover the younger generation. Inspired by desert rally cars, the Gripz is packed with an EV technology based hybrid system, an efficient gasoline engine found in the Nissan LEAF, and a built in dashcam.

On the outside, the Gripz shows off Nissan's new "emotional geometry" design language. Exterior highlights include 22-inch wheels inspired by racing bicycles, boomerang-shaped running lights, aggressive and extended wheel arches, and Nissan's classic V-motion grille. The Gripz has four doors, the front are deep dihedral doors that swing out and up when opened, and rear doors that are hinged at the rear.

Interior highlights on the Nissan Gripz concept include a mix of matte-grey and deep red-orange colors, molded bucket seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a "Gliding Wing" instrument panel that combines strength with simplicity. The interior was inspired by the Tour de France and its high-tech bicycles, with exposed tubes and door pulls that are shaped like racing bike saddles.
